Sports Hall Commemorative Seating area.
Design & build of seating structure from wood & stone to commemorate Jan Hirons, a senior tutor who deceased last year.

Sheffield Children's Festival
COCO-LOCO Production. 'The World of Endless Skies. Four South American Stories interpreted into Drama, Dance, Art and Sculpture. Workshops in 10 schools culminating in 2 performance days at Pond's Forge Studio.

Sheffield Green Food Map
Design, artwork & promotion of the food based map depicting shops, café's, pubs, farms, allotment sites and learning resources that promote the healthy, whole food, organic & natural food resources abundant in Sheffield.

The BIG Draw, Robin Hoods Bay.
Various projects ran over 3 days with the BTEC students of Eccles College, including night drawing, painting with fire, willow lantern making, nature samples, sand ship sculpture & the Beach Calligraphy Postcard Project.

High Hazel's Park - Musical Chairs.
The official opening of the Musical Chairs Sculpture. Where 9 chairs were designed and set out in a circle to play individual notes on the pentatonic scale. Workshops with the children from Greenlands Junior School, producing etchings for the top of each musical chair.

Kashmir Curry Centre.
Creating a new facade and sign for one of Sheffield's landmark curry houses. Demolition of exiting facade, design and build of new green oak signage, illuminated sign & steel petals.



Jan 04-ongoing
Marks the beginning of Bird&Bee project "360degrees" where texture, colour and environment are explored through mandala like circles created on various scales at various sites.

Fire Spinning
Various performances throughout the year. Spinning fire sticks around at high velocity.

Recycling Matters
Exterior signage for recycling information centre on Spital Hill, Sheffield. Using reclaimed, recycled and eco materials. 3 hooped eco logo sign made from mild steel. Also shop fit including false walls made from carpet tubes & bespoke lighting made from washing machines & recycled materials.

Apple Source
Carved wooden book documenting a celebration of the Apple, presented to a Leeds Primary School as part of the Apple Shelter project. (see www.handspringdesign.co.uk)

A Date at the Palm House.
Design & artwork for Poster & Fold-Out CD cover celebrating cooking with representatives of the five continents in Liverpool's recently refurbished Victorian Palm House, Sefton Park. Inviting ethnic Liverpool representatives of the five continents to come and cook and share stories of their food, culture, folklore and medicine. Recorded by photograph and audiotape.
